Separated from a loved one?

The Family Reunions Project seeks to illustrate the human impact that emerging VR technology is poised to have on millions of people around the world who have been separated from their loved ones.
Our goal is to put virtual reality to work for undocumented families, creating 360-degree video postcards that give those who are unable to travel a taste of home.
VR’s most promising feature is its ability to transport.
For those who wonder about the worlds their parents fled from, those who long to revisit childhood homes, or those who can never return home, VR presents a way to feel connected to their personal history.
